Drag Queen Story Hour
In celebration of Pride, Seaport by WS Development announces a summer long partnership with Drag Queen Story Hour. This new season-long family-friendly series kicks off on Sunday, July 10th. Hosted by local drag queen star, Patty Bourrée, the fun and engaging series provides a space that encourages kids to celebrate themselves and others. Drag Queen Story Hour captures the imagination and play of childhood and provides families and kids with positive and unabashedly queer role models. The series is complimentary and open to the public. Books will be provided by Seaport’s new neighborhood bookstore, Porter Square Books. Ollie Playdate at Carson Beach

Caribbean American Carnival Association of Boston is kicking off Carnival season right here in the neighborhood! On Saturday, July 16th from 10am-6pm, Carson Beach will be transformed into an island oasis with food trucks, DJs spinning tunes, giveaways, Boston Carnival bands, and masqueraders! Free Workout at Sweat Fixx
Sadly, Sweat Fixx had to close its South Boston location. But good news, they’ve relocated to the lululemon on Newbury Street and to celebrate, they’re offering a free classes on Saturday! Their studio will be located on the 2nd floor of lululemon. There is a full locker room with beautiful, clean bathrooms and showers for all clients to use.
