Maybe it’s been one of those days at the office where at 10 in the morning you already decided you needed a drink later. Or, maybe you’re just looking for a little refresher in the evening and some new drink spots to spice up (or sweeten) your social life. Thankfully, Southie has got allll of your beverage needs covered, and they’re frozen!

For the one who is indecisive…

To avoid the dreadful moment of having to decide between a strawberry daiquiri and a piña colada, just head to Publico and order a Miami Vice. It’s a combo of the two and for $12, you can’t beat it. But of course, if you aren’t feeling that adventurous and just want one of the drinks, you can also order just a daiquiri, piña colada, coconut margarita, mango margarita, painkiller or frosé all for $12 as well. The options are endless!

For the one who hates change…

When it comes to restaurants and ordering, once I go somewhere for the first time and get something that I like, that becomes my order every time I return. It’s safe. I know I won’t be disappointed. BUT, if you want to try and get out of your comfort zone a little bit without working up a full fledged panic, go to Six West and get yourself a Pineapple Daiquiri. Sure, you might feel like you are cheating on your piña colada, but it’s similar enough where you should still enjoy it and pat yourself on the back for trying something new.

For the one with a sweet tooth…

Why have a chocolate milkshake or a coffee frappuccino when you can have the best of both worlds? Capo makes a Frozen Mudslide and it is basically the ultimate grown up shake. Chocolate. Vanilla ice cream. Coffee liqueur. Need I say more?

For the one who is classy (but sassy)…

Growing up and watching actors in movies and shows sip on a martini always made me think that they were the pinnacle of adult drinks. Ordering one at dinner? Class. Ordering an espresso martini for dessert? Double Class. But ordering a FROZEN Espresso Martini? That shows your class AND your sass. Go to Fox and The Knife to get your fix and have yourself a movie moment.

For the one who likes a twist…

We all love a good classic, something we can rely on that we know will always be enjoyed. For movie lovers, maybe that’s The Parent Trap or The Breakfast Club. But for summer drink lovers, that’s good old frosé. Turning your glass of rosé into a frozen delight is one thing, but adding mint and watermelon is another. Roza Lyons uses both of those ingredients in their Roza Froze and nothing could be more refreshing than that trifecta: watermelon, mint, frozen rosé. Am I wrong?

For the one who likes a classic…

Let’s play a quick game of word association. I’ll say frozen drink and you’ll say the first one that comes to mind. One, two, three: FROZEN MARG. If this classic drink is your go-to, then head on over to Loco to get one (or three) so you can try their blood orange, strawberry and passionfruit flavors. PLUS, for an extra dollar you can add in fruit puree.

So, which drink are you going to be adding to your list of must-try treats?
