Legal Seafood
Established in 1950 by George Markowitz, the Legal Seafood restaurants don’t take their cuisine lightly, especially Legal Harborside, which serves up some of the freshest catches in the Seaport District. Picture this: three floors, three different concepts, and 20,000 square feet. Not too shabby, right?  The first-floor consists of casual dining with delectable seafood entrees, an oyster bar and a market where you can purchase your favorite fishes to take home and serve up however you please (takeout is available too!).  The first-floor menu even includes an “Ode to Inman Square” section, home of the original Legal Cash Market and Legal Seafood’s from 1904 to 1980. The second floor has finer, more expensive cuisine with a creative edge and also offers private dining for celebratory occasions.  Finally, the third floor consists of a rooftop lounge with cocktails and nibbling treats to munch on while you enjoy the ocean view.
