ICA – The Institute of Contemporary Art

The Institute of Contemporary Art strives to share the pleasures of reflection, inspiration, provocation, and imagination that contemporary art offers through public access to art, artists, and the creative process. On Thursday nights, enjoy free admission!

Alamo Drafthous Cinema

Innovative Austin-based theater chain Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is pleased to announce that its first-ever New England location, Alamo Drafthouse Seaport, is officially open in the Seaport, complete with the theater’s standalone bar, The Press Room! You can learn more here! 

Puttshack

Puttshack, the world’s first and only upscale tech-infused mini golf experience featuring craft cocktails, local beers, and dishes inspired by flavors around the world, is now open in the heart of Boston’s bustling Seaport neighborhood.  Puttshack Boston expands across two-floor levels, covering more than 26,000 square feet. This new location will feature four highly engaging and competitive nine-hole mini golf courses, accentuated by floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views of the waterfront and a high-energy, upscale nightclub vibe featuring local DJs. Each floor will include a bar for those craving expertly handcrafted drinks and a main dining area on the first floor serving the globally inspired dining menu. A private event space with a capacity for up to 74 seats will also be available for those searching for an exclusive space for birthday parties, company outings, and events.

Flight Club

Flight Club – a new social darts club – is now open in the Seaport at 60 Seaport Blvd.  Flight Club offers a super-charged social gaming experience like no other, with multi-player games set in semi-private playing areas, housed in a bar, serving delicious food and amazing botanical-based cocktails. Sounds like fun! 

During the week Flight Club features happy hour specials from 4:00pm-6:00pm.  They are also open for lunch!

Kings Dining and Entertainment

The new Kings features 20,000 square feet of fun at 60 Seaport Boulevard complete with 16 lanes of big ball bowling, a “bar-Kade” filled with video games, pool tables, foosball a giant four-man air hockey table, shuffle board, and hoops! There’s also the Draft Room which features three giant TV screens and more than 40 beers on draft – perfect spot for watching the game. Kings offers a wide variety of beverages including an assortment of inventive specialty cocktails, 40 curated craft, local and guest-favorite beers on tap, and its signature “Big Ball” shareable cocktails. Family-friendly options include a variety of hand-spun milkshakes available in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, peanut butter cup, or Oreo and ice cream floats available with root beer, cream soda, or orange soda. The menu is filled with classic American comfort foods like wing, burgers, tacos, and pizza, and signature appetizers like Buffalo Chicken Wantons and entrees like Nashville Hot Chicken with bacon creamed corn, mashed potatoes, honey griddled corn bread and house made pickles.

Cisco Brewery

Cisco Brewery is bringing the island vibes back to the waterfront for the fifth season in a row. In exciting news, Cisco Brewers Seaport will now offer craft cocktails and spirits from Triple Eight Distillery alongside its renowned portfolio of innovative beer and Nantucket Vineyards wine. This year, Cisco will be located at a new and even more accommodating location in Boston’s Seaport—85 Northern Ave—just down the block from its previous spot, on the corner of Pier 4 Boulevard and Seaport Boulevard. It will include a large, tented space so guests can enjoy the pop-up all season long; the tent will also be available to rent for corporate outings and special events. SPIN

Maybe it’s the little paddles or the sound the ball makes when it hits the table, but we love ping pong.  Spin is now open on Melcher Street and is the original ping pong social club, your offline social network, the only one that doesn’t require a membership! Enjoy food and drink while you play!

Leader Bank Pavilion

The Leader Bank Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater located in the Seaport used for concerts and events. It seats 5,000.The season runs from May until October!  You can check out and see who’s playing here! 

Harpoon Brewery

Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum

Chronicling the Patriots’ 1773 act of defiance against British rule, the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum is an interactive experience that has been voted one of the best family attractions in the city. The multimedia displays, knowledgeable Historical Interpreters and hands-on exhibits that allow visitors to experience one of the most significant events in American history. See the Robinson Half Chest, one of only two tea chests known to survive that historic night. Learn the events leading up to the evening of December 16 when the Sons of Liberty, loosely disguised as Mohawk Indians, engaged in the brazen act of hurling tea overboard into Boston Harbor. Set your own course through history as you climb aboard and explore the 18th century sailing vessels. And join the Sons and Daughters of Liberty in solidarity as you destroy the tea!

Boston Children’s Museum

Enjoy a visit at the Boston Children’s Museum! The Museum is open to the public from Wednesday – Sunday with two time slots, 9:00am–12:00pm and 1:30–4:30pm. All ticketing is done online, including member reservations.

Lawn on D

The Lawn On D Powered by Citizens is Boston’s most innovative and vibrant seasonal outdoor venue in the heart of the thriving South Boston Waterfront District. Open from May to November, there is always something to see, do or experience at The Lawn On D. Open daily during designated hours, The Lawn On D provides a colorful collection of public seating and lounge chairs, interactive art exhibitions, assorted games such as bocce and ping-pong, and free Wi-Fi. Martin’s Park

Martin’s Park, a City of Boston park, honors the youngest victim of the Boston Marathon bombings, Martin Richard. Martin’s Park is a symbol of Martin’s welcoming and inclusive nature, and a unique outdoor play space created to support outdoor adventure and nature play. The Park, with its many inventive structures, is an inclusive play space offering opportunities for children of all abilities to experience discovery and exploration.
