L Street Tavern

Good Will Hunting was filmed here. The crowd is hip and happening with a mainly 20’s and 30’s crowd. Great juke box and a fun and lively vibe.

Southie’s newest hot spot has specialty drinks and a menu including goat cheese dip and wood fire pizza.  This is the place to be seen.

This popular spot for 20 somethings is often filled to capacity on a weekend night.  The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable.

This cozy spot  has gorgeous woodwork, a retro vibe and antique fire extinguishers for bar taps. The menu features comfort food with a spin with favorites like hog wings and mac and cheese fritters.  Their bartenders are second to non and are true mixologists.

Touchie’s Shamrock Pub
501 E 8th St
Cozy Southie Bar filled with a cast . Mixed ages from 20’s to 70’s. Trivia night and entertainment on weekend. Great beer and drink prices.

The Clock Tavern
342 West Broadway
The brother tavern to Shenanigan’s, this bar is a little bit more “hole in the wall”.  Its old school feel is great spot to enjoy a drink and people watch.

Amrheins

This popular spot boasts the oldest working draught beer pump in Boston and the proud home of the oldest hand carved bar in America. Also, serves lunch, dinner and a Sunday brunch. Don’t feel like driving – Amrheins will pick you up in the “worry free” shuttle.

One of Southie’s newer hot spots, Stephi’s has a menu filled with classic comfort food like mac n’ cheese and shepherd’s pie to more sophisticated items like panko crusted ahi tuna.  They also have an extensive signature cocktail list and beers on tap.

Very, very Irish. Great food and very cozy and friendly vibe. We love that they paint their exterior several times a year to match the seasons/holidays.

Shenanigan’s

Cozy and relaxed vibe. Fun crowd ages 20’s and 30’s. Thursday is Karaoke Night. On weekends usually has a DJ spinning.

Seapoint Restaurant

Authentic Southie Bar. Large and spacious. Three pool tables, awesome jukebox. Really delicious steak-tips. Full lunch and dinner menu. Friendly staff. Triva Thursdays.

Moonshine 152

One of the newer bars in Southie, it is comfortable and chic. Fun signature cocktails and delicious food. Dinner served nightly as well as brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Williams Tavern

A true Southie bar. It’s gritty and a dive but it’s so much fun! Cheap drinks and beer.

Barlow’s

The newest member of the Southie bar scene. It offers a warm and contemporary feel. $9 martinis and beer specials.
