In Southie, a great night out is never hard to come by; there’s certainly no shortage of neighborhood happenings and new spots to eat and drink. But if you’re looking to feel better about grabbing yet another beer next week, you’re in luck: we know of a philanthropic way to have a good time.

On Tuesday, May 24th you can head over to Coppersmith for a night of food, drinks, and fashion to benefit Massachusetts Fallen Heroes, an organization that honors the fallen by assisting surviving relatives and empowering veterans. Put on by the MFH and Boston fashion designer Lindsay Tia (owner of LT, a lifestyle brand that symbolizes a “fashionable way to make a change”), the “Bravery Bash” will feature a full-on fashion show—the first MFH has ever organized. On the runway, event-goers will get an up-close look at Tia’s Bravery Brand, a New England-made line of accessories that includes bags, jewelry, and even dog gear. Perhaps the line’s best feature? A percentage of the proceeds will support families of the fallen. But if you’re more of a I-came-for-the-beer-and-music person than a fashion fanatic, you can still give back just by drinking and eating—all ticket proceeds will go directly back to the MFH. Interested? The show starts at 7:45PM with Danielle Vollmar from Channel 5 as the MC. Hair and makeup by The Beauty Bar!
