REMINDER: Liquor Stores will close at 4pm on Sunday, March 20th. All Bars + Restaurants in South Boston will close doors between 6-6:30pm and need to cleared out by 7:00pm on Sunday, March 19th.

The Woods School of Irish Dance will be performing along Broadway on Saturday to promote the St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast! Be on the lookout for them!

Wearing O’ the Green

Need something to wear this St. Patrick’s Day?  Well, we’ve got you covered!  Southie’s Own has everything from Irish knit sweaters to scally caps, Southie t-shirts, and green hoodies galore! College Hype is stocked with hoodies, t-shirts, and caps just in time for parade day! They’ll be set up in front of Rockland Trust next to Walgreens.  Habit has fun and trendy items from shamrock earrings to t-shirts, scarves, hats and more!

Luck of the Lady Party with Cisco Brewers at Fresh

Stop by the Luck of the Lady party on Friday at Fresh from 3-5pm. $1 for every Gray Lady purchased is donated to The Allied War Veterans Council! Plus the Cisco team will be there handing out giveaways.

Did you know that the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is actually the Evacuation Day Parade? There will be Evacuation Day (March 17th) Ceremonies on Friday at 10am!

Cheer: the St. Patrick’s Day Road Race

The race is On & Registration is Open! The South Boston Boys + Girls Club St. Patrick’s Day 5K race takes place on Sunday, March 19th before the parade at 11am.  Cheer for the runners as they go by! Make sure to read this important PSA! 

Tune In – St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast

If you love nostalgia, singing Irish songs, and local politicians telling jokes, then you’ll love this event! Senator Nick Collins (and Southie native) will host the legendary St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast on Sunday, March 19th at 9am live and in person at the Ironworkers Union Hall on Old Colony Ave! The 2023 annual St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast will be live on BNNTV with additional color commentary and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks via Caught in Southie Instagram! St. Patrick’s Day Pizza at Bardo’s

Look no further than Bardo’s for the Pot of Gold this week. Their St. Patrick’s Day Pizza special features, yes you guessed it, edible gold! Pot of Gold Bar Pie – slow braised corned beef, sauerkraut, Killarney blasta spread, cheddar cheese blend, topped with edible gold! Available March 14 – 20!

Green beer + Donuts at Harpoon Brewery

The Harpoon Beer Hall will be opening early at 10AM on Southie St Pat’s Parade day next Sunday for people to pregame! There will be green beer, pretzels with green sprinkles and irish cream frosting, a raffle, donuts from Rocco’s, bagels, and coffee.

And we’re back…to a full route! The South Boston St. Patrick’s Day/Evacuation Day Parade returns on Sunday, March 19th at 1pm!

Traffic/Street Closures/Parking Restrictions for St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade, as well as the South Boston Boys and Girls Club Road Race, will be held in South Boston on Sunday, March 19th, 2023.  The parade and road race will result in street closures and reduce on-street parking availability. People coming into the City for the event are encouraged not to drive their personal vehicles and to take the MBTA. You can get full details of street closures and parking restrictions here.
