Where to celebrate

Here are just some St. Patricks Day celebrations happening in Southie!  Check back for updates! 

Corned beef and cabbage just like Nana used to make.  The Seapoint is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th serving the traditional meal of Irish immigrants – corned beef and cabbage.  The nearly 40 year old family run South Boston business will also be featuring live Irish music all day. The fun begins at 11am!  Normally, closed on parade day, The Seapoint will be open on Sunday, March 15th!

Roza Lyons will be open for business all weekend long – including Parade Day! They’ll be serving up traditional corned beef and cabbage all weekend long with plenty of Guinness to quench your thirst!

On Sunday, Loco Taqueria will be serving up green coconut margaritas (a favorite among patrons) and frozen Jameson cocktails, as well as Irish-themed taco specials. Follow them on instagram for the latest news and contest info!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day as the Irish intended -with a full day of drinking great beer.  This year Dorchester Brewing Co is making it a full weekend celebration on Saturday and Sunday! Enjoy fresh beer, live music, Irish Step Dancers, traditional food and more. If you haven’t checked out the newly expanded space with the 4-season Rooftop Hopservatory, now is the perfect time. They’ll be tapping a fresh batch of our Savin Stout to drink as the Irish do. You can learn more here! 

Capo will be hosting a special concert put on by Dalton & the Sheriffs from noon-3pm in the Supper Club.  You can get your tickets here! Sinatra Sunday will also take place from 6-9pm. Upstairs in the dining room, Capo will have a specialty Irish coffee bar setup with all the fixings for guests to elevate their brunch experience.

Six West at Cambria Hotel will have its roofdeck open all weekend long.  Enjoy one of the best views in the neighborhood on March 13th – March 17th from 12pm-dusk.

The Broadway will be celebrating all weekend long fro Thursday through Tuesday, March 17th with festive good and drink additions to their menu! On parade day, enjoy a Jameson Party with entertainment, bag pipers, photo booth, and more. $20 cover.

You can follow them on Instagram for giveaway details. On Sunday, Lincoln will be serving up Irish-themed food and drink specials and selling 100 exclusive T-shirts with a one time custom design.  There will also be Irish-themed food and drink specials on Tuesday, March 17th.

On Sunday and Tuesday, Fat Baby will be serving up their own unique twist on Irish-fare with Corn Beef Eggs Rolls and Irish Hand Grenade cocktail specials.

Coppersmith will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in a big way with FIVE festive days starting on Friday, March 13 and finishing up on Tuesday, March 17!

☘ Drinks: Coppersmith will be sticking to the classics, serving up Irish Car Bombs, Guinness, Irish coffee and Jameson. On Friday (3/13) Magners Irish Cider will be handing out samples and swag from 6-8 p.m. They will be on tap for the rest of the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations through the week. Jameson will be coming to do whiskey flights as a part of their bar crawl on Saturday (3/14).

☘ Food: Coppersmith will be putting a fun twist on Irish delicacies. They’ll be serving up delicious Corned Beef Sliders, Corned Beef Quesadillas, Shepard’s Pie Meatballs and Gravy, and Irish Pizza with Irish Bacon and Irish Sausage (rashers and bangers). Not a fan of Irish grub? No worries! They’ll have their full menu available as well.

☘ Entertainment: Along with Irish step dancers and bagpipers, Coppersmith will have live music as well. Nightside, the Boston based band that plays traditional Irish music will be jamming out on Saturday (3/14) and Tuesday (3/17). Stu Sinclair will be holding it down on Sunday (3/15) and of course there will be a DJ Friday and Saturday night.

Coppersmith will be OPEN on Monday, March 16 at 4 p.m. On Tuesday they will open their doors at noon to get the party started.

On Sunday, Publico will be opening for brunch from10am-3pm and featuring corned beef hash. From 3pm-5pm they’ll be serving their mid-day snacks menu and closing at 5pm. Be on the lookout for St. Pat’s specialty cocktails! 

Backyard Betty’s will be celebrating on Sunday and St. Patrick’s Day!  A special limited menu will be featured in addition to specialty drinks! 

The Playwright is also fired up for parade day and will be celebrating all weekend long food + drink and live entertainment through St. Patrick’s Day.

D’s Keys will be celebrating on Sunday!  Doors open at 1pm, piano starts at 2pm.  No cover. $5 Guinness and $6 Lucky Irish shots. There will also be limited edition D’s Keys St. Patrick’s t-shirts on sale.  Only 100 available!
