Football BBQ Platters from Publico

Nothing like eating BBQ while you watch the Pats face the Dolphins at 1pm on Sunday!  Leave the cooking to Publico!  They’ve got BBQ platters perfect for game day! Preorder for pickup! Each platter comes with Chicken Wings, Cheeseburger Sliders, Hot Dawgs, Chips, Guac, and Pico de Gallo, Pizza, and French Fries! Small Platter (feeds 2-3 people) is $50. Large Platter (feeds 4-6 people is $95.

Fox &The Knife is serving Brunch

First up, on Sunday, September 13 at Fox & the Knife, Karen is keeping it all in the family as Fox’s own Chef de Cuisine, Molly Dwyer, steps up to the plate to offer breakfast favorites that depart from the restaurant’s usual soulful Italian fare.  From 10:00am-2:00pm, Molly will be serving up next level breakfast sandwiches (8-10$) such as the Spicy Boy, green chorizo patty, egg, avocado on a potato bun, The Basic B, egg, arugula, pickled shallots, goat butter on an English muffin, and The Mediterranean Boy, egg, zhoug and whipped feta on a flatbread. Sandwiches can be paired with espresso drinks, refreshing Honey Coconut Iced Coffee, Frose, Mimosas, Bellinis or Aperol Spritzes. Guests can walk up to the restaurant for takeout or sit and eat outside at one of Fox’s 25 seats on a first come, first serve basis. More brunch surprises will be announced in the coming days.

Rooftop Yoga to benefit the Ollie

Enjoy a 60 minute yoga class on the Coppersmith rooftop taught by Orla O’Brien!  Not only will you get a great workout, you’ll be helping out the South Boston Neighborhood House!  Class is $20 and is suitable for all levels.  100% of proceeds go to the South Boston Neighborhood House. You can register here! Please bring your own mat or towel. Mats will be placed a minimum of six feet apart. You must wear a mask to/from class and only remove it when you are safely on your own mat. Treat yourself to brunch post class at Coppersmith at 11am!

Virtual Boston Marathon

Maura Gavaghan is part of the Spaulding Rehab Team that will run a virtual Boston Marathon on Saturday, September 12th! The team’s route winds through the neighborhoods of Dorchester, Southie, through downtown, over to Charlestown, Cambridge and back through Southie with our finish line at the Farragut Statue. Maura is running on Team Spaulding as a way to show her gratitude for the role they played in her brother Brendan’s recovery a few years ago.
