Tatte Bakery is now open!

Tatte has officially opened at Iron Works. The wildly popular and chic bakery will offer classes and workshops open to the public, and have a viewing area of the production space which will serve all Tatte’s Massachusetts locations as they undertake significant expansion.  You can learn more here!

The news of the new baby girl giraffe calf born at the Franklin Park Zoo excited us all! Well, you’ll be able to see her and her mom this week at the Zoo! Exhibit hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for calf and mom, Amari.

Mass Bay Credit Union is hosting their wildly popular shredding event!  Members and residents who live in the community are invited to bring any documents that contain sensitive information and have them shredded safely and for free!  There is a five-box maximum. This event will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 9:00AM-11:30AM at Mass Bay Credit Union 147 West 4th Street.

Maybe it’s the little paddles or the sound the ball makes when it hits the table, but we love ping pong.  So when we saw a post on social media stating that a ping pong club would be opening on Melcher Street, we were thrilled. SPIN, the beloved ping pong social club founded in New York City in 2009 has expanded with its 10th outpost in Fort Point! You can learn more here!   

Vote Early

The Municipal Election in the City of Boston takes place on Nov. 2 but you can vote early! The early voting period takes place Saturday, October 23, through Friday, October 29. During that time, voters registered in Boston will be able to cast their ballots in person before the Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 2. Here’s where you can vote early!  You’ll be voting for Mayor of Boston and City Councilor-At-Large.

Fall-O-Ween

The Boston Parks Department is hosting a special Fall-O-Ween Children’s Festival on Friday, October 22nd from 5pm-8pm at 38 Beacon Street in Beacon Hill. Test your skills and courage to find your way out of the Haunted Fun House Maze, hop on the train hosted and make your way over to our glow in the dark play space for some nighttime fun featuring LED illuminated swings, seesaws, and cornhole. Learn how to build spooky creatures with Lego Master Model Builder, Sean. Enjoy exciting acts from the Boston Circus Guild with performances by an aerial artist and stilt walker between 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. This FREE, family-friendly event will also include lots of spooky activities and giveaways for all ages. Don’t forget your costume!
