SB Kickoff 4 Kids

The Fourth Annual South Boston Kickoff For Kids will take place on Saturday, June 12th with flag football games starting at 9:30am and 10 teams of women battling it out until only one champion remains! Stop by and show your support – DJ Kait will be spinning the tunes – and purchase a t-shirt ($20) or two! SB Kickoff 4 Kids is a non-profit that supports hundreds of youths and teens in the community a year! Takes place at the Pop Warner Field next to the skating rink! Let’s go!

Tiny Cash Wrap Concert at The Current

In the spirit of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts, enjoy a free outdoor concert Sunday, June 13th at 3:00pm at The Current featuring a performance by Jessye DeSilva. Attendees enjoy exclusive giveaways, plus the chance to win a gift pack from The Current’s retailers. Calling all pets!

Boston Veterinary Clinic Seaport will host an Open House Weekend on Saturday 1pm-3pm and Sunday 11am-3pm. Stop by and check it out! BVC Seaport opened its doors in January 2021, making it the first veterinary care clinic in the neighborhood. The weekend will also celebrate the addition of two new veterinarians, Dr. Jessica Clay and Dr. Michael McGill and the addition of exotic pet care at this location.

South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation is hosting a lottery on Friday, June 11th for 21 brand-new plots at the West First Street Community Garden!  The park and garden are located at 175 West Fifth Street and are scheduled to open later this month.  Each plot is approximately 30 square feet!
