Things are slowly going back to normal in the world. People are getting vaccinated. Mask mandates and COVID restrictions for businesses have been lifted and new workouts are starting to surface in the neighborhood! Here are some new ones to try!

Backyard Bos

BACKYAHD BOS was created by three local trainers in Boston with the intention of making fitness fun and healthy again! The studio is located at Ray Flynn Marine Industrial Park (AKA Black Falcon Cruise Terminal) and classes range from strength and conditioning to circuit training plus yoga and pilates. Good Morning Yogi

Start your day right with an outdoor yoga class! Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 am at Medal of Honor Park in Southie (Between M & N Street on East Broadway) weather permitting. Students can expect a grounding 60-minute vinyasa flow: both beginners and advanced yogis are welcome to participate as the class is designed for skill levels (even if you’ve never taken yoga before). Claira Lee Fitness Bootcamp

Get outside and get moving! This 7 week series takes place June 2nd – July 14th on Wednesdays at 6pm at M Street Park! All levels welcome! Bring a mat and a water bottle! $14 per class for the 7 week session or $17 for a drop-in. You can sign up by emailing [email protected]

DaisyFace Flow at Pleasure Bay

Join Morgan of daisyface flow at Pleasure Bay four classes during the week. Each hour long class is an invigorating all-levels, vinyasa style flow that is meant for the newer yogi & those looking to expand their preexisting practice. Bring a mat you don’t mind getting sandy, or borrow one of Morgan’s for FREE! Show up for class 5-10 minutes before start to grab your perfect ocean facing spot. Cost is $10 you can register here! Classes are offered Wednesday 6pm-7pm, Friday 12pm-1pm, Saturday 10am-11am and Sunday 6pm-7pm. Each class takes place at the beach to the right of the causeway entrance of the sugar bowl aka City Point/Old Kelly’s Landing Beach.

It’s Electric – Two Toned Training LED Bootcamp

Join this electric experience with LED lights, music, and a killer workout! Two Toned Training leads a 45 minute bodyweight/HIIT class at A Street Park every Tuesday from 7:45pm-8:30pm.  You can register here!  Each participant will get to use a LED yoga mat! They are currently offering a BOGO for classes!

Bounce at The Grand

The award winning bounce (trampoline) fitness is now available at The Grand at the SeaportPrepare for a workout experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. There’s a DJ, lighting crew, LED screens, and an all-star cast of instructors that guide you through an adrenaline pumping, sweat inducing, full body workout. Gather your friends and bounce every FridaySaturday, and Sunday at The Grand Boston in Seaport! You can learn more here! 

Sunday Yoga in the Park

Annie Cheevers will lead an hour flow at Childe Hassan Park in the South End located at 324 Columbus Ave.  Every Sunday at 10am – class is $10.  Don’t forget to bring your own mat and some water.
