One good thing to come from the pandemic is all the outdoor patios popping up in the neighborhood. Initially the outdoor dining pilot was created to help struggling restaurants due to COVID-19, but it was quickly realized how much our neighborhood loved outdoor patio options!  So here’s a running list of patios and outdoor dining in our neighborhood! It will be updated as outdoor patios reopen!

Roza Lyons

Using Jack Daniels’ barrels and white lights, Roza Lyons has transformed its outdoor patio into an urban oasis. This local favorite is the perfect spot to catch up with friends, enjoy some snacks and one of their many beers on tap!

Coppersmith

One of the best roof decks in the city, the Airdeck at Coppersmith offers a classically-outfitted vintage Airstream serving craft beer, wine and specialty seasonal cocktails.  With a picnic-style atmosphere, larger parties can pre-order a variety of platters that serve up to 10 guests in authentic Radio Flyer Wagons and enjoy fun group games like cornhole.

Lincoln Tavern

You can get brunch 7 days a week at this neighborhood favorite! And now you can enjoy brunch and dinner on Lincoln’s patio complete with outdoor wooden booths!

Loco

Rustic wooden picnic tables with colorful flowers comprise Loco’s new outdoor dining experience! Perfect for margarita drinking and taco eating!

Capo

Enjoy pasta and wine al fresco at Capo’s new and improved patio!

Fat Baby

Fat Baby has revealed a beautiful new patio with a fun tiki vibe just in time for their new spring drink list!

Lulu Green

Lulu Green – Southie’s favorite plant-based fast-casual restaurant – now offers indoor and outdoor seating! Enjoy a fresh pressed juice, smoothie salad or sandwich in the sunshine! In addition to delicious food, they also serve amazing coffee and tea! Lulu Green proudly serves direct trade single origin coffee by Barismo and find organic teas by Rishi and local herbal blends by Farmacy Herbs! Save room for dessert too!

Seapoint Restaurant

Enjoy your potato skins and steak tips outdoors at the Seapoint’s new an improved outdoor patio! This converted parking lot has been transformed into a delightful patio – perfect spot for apres beach this summer!

Publico

In addition to Publico’s gorgeous indoor atrium with a retractable roof, their outdoor patio is open for the season!

Local 149

Enjoy shareable plates and creative cocktails on simple picnic tables or colorful tables for two at Local 149!

STATS in Southie

The legendary hot spot for 20-somethings has creative an entire outdoor beer garden in a parking lot next door. Rows and rows of wooden picnic tables with umbrellas, order up some pitchers and nachos and take in the sights.

Moonshine 152

Moonshine 152 has a pre-existing patio but they recently opened additional seating along the front of the building as well!  Enjoy Party Tots and Korean BBQ tacos and Moonshine’s Specialty Cocktails.

Six West

The newly opened Six West features one of the most spectacular roof decks in the neighborhood. This restaurant is perched atop The Cambria Hotel with plenty and outdoor tables and multiple greenhouses available for booking on Resy. Each greenhouse can hold up to 6 guests! Perfect for brunch or dinner.

The Broadway

The Broadway’s outdoor patio is back! Enjoy shareable plates and large format cocktails at this Southie hot spot. Recommendations recommended.

The Paramount

This local favorite spot for breakfast/brunch and dinner has an outdoor patio complete with red cloth umbrellas.  No reservations needed.  Just stop by!

The Playwright

The Playwright has large wooden picnic tables out front perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner!  Their back patio is also opened for business and perfect for sipping seasonal cocktails!

American Provision

Enjoy your sandwiches and coffee on picnic tables on I Street at American Provisions.

Gray’s Hall

Gray’s Hall – sister restaurant to American Provisions – has opened their patio for the season. The East Broadway wine bar + kitchen serves up shareable farm to table places and has an extensive and impressive wine list!

Shenannigans

Shenannigans has transformed their parking lot into a big patio with picnic tables and umbrellas!

Worden Hall

The patio is open at Worden Hall! Enjoy this streamlined and modern outdoor spot complete with colorful flowers!

Lucky’s Lounge

This Sinatra-themed lounge has added outdoor dining to their A Street location. Featuring comfort food & cocktail classics, Lucky’s is a lively spot for lunch, dinner and brunch.

Oak + Rowan

This chic patio features wooden tables and canvas back chairs, turquoise umbrellas and green plants!  Enjoy fresh farm to table meals, creative cocktails and an extensive wine list!  Open Wednesday – Saturday 5-10. You can check out their menus here! 

Row 34

The patio is open at Row 34! Enjoy fresh seafood and craft beer in Fort Point.

Lolita

This Fort Point hot spot has a beautiful outdoor patio right on the channel to enjoy margaritas and tacos!

Cisco Brewers Seaport Beer Garden

For a fourth year in a row, the wildly popular Nantucket brewer will open this week in the Seaport! Cisco Brewers Seaport Beer Garden has returned!   The 14,000 sq. ft. outdoor beer garden showcases Cisco Brewers’ extensive portfolio of beers, including favorites like Whale’s Tale Pale Ale, Grey Lady Wheat Ale, Wandering Haze Hazy IPA and its seasonal Summer Rays Golden Ale, as well as hard ciders, wines, frosé and coolers. They also feature food from Rexicana Surf Cantina!  You can learn more here. 

Deck 12 & Komyuniti at YOTEL Boston

Located at YOTEL Boston, Komyuniti offers ground level al fresco dining while Deck 12 is YOTEL’s inside dining with floor-to-ceiling windows and open air rooftop space perched above the city with stunning views of Boston’s downtown and waterfront. Both restaurants serve a rotating series of seasonal dishes and craft cocktails for dinner daily in addition to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday brunch. Guests can indulge in a menu featuring Caribbean Nachos, a selection of five different taco dishes, decadent sandwiches and refreshing cocktails like the Gettin’ Tiki With It and Slush Du Jour. Additionally taking place this June, Twin Lion Co, a women’s activewear brand, will be hosting a retail pop-up on YOTEL Boston’s Deck 12 space, where visitors can sip and shop.

Gather Boston

Gather offers an expansive patio for outdoor dining. Guests can enjoy modern American-inspired dishes like its award winning Clam ChowderChicken & Waffle Bites, and a Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich, and a drink menu featuring Draft Beer TowersMimosa TowerCoffee Collusion in classic, chai and mocha, and Margarita La Picante. Gather’s popular weekend Brunch is also available on the patio on Saturday and Sunday, and it will begin offering brunch on Mondays starting April 5.

City Tap

The outdoor patio at City Tap has fire pits encase the weather is a little chilly.  City Tap’s menu has something for everyone from shareable appetizers, burgers and sandwiches and their brick oven pizza.  You can check out their menu here! 

Wood Hill Pier 4

Woods Hill Pier 4 has peppered its patio with translucent heated igloos for parties of six or less to enjoy dinner overlooking Boston Harbor. The patios can be reserved for parties of two to six guests. The igloos can be reserved for up to two and a half hours and there is a food and beverage spend starting at $450 (based on day of the week and availability) to reserve it. In addition to their igloos, there are plenty of tables on their expansive, waterfront patio.

Scorpion Bar

Scorpion Bar in Seaport has opened its patio for guests to enjoy its Mexican inspired menu al fresco. Patio menu highlights include Oysters with Habanero Mignonette, Crispy Oysters, Tacos and Mexican Pizza. Buckets of beer and large format drinks such as Fiesta PunchMargarita Pitchers, and Rojo Rocket Sangria will also be available.  

TAMO Bistro + Bar at the Seaport Hotel

Dine with a view of Boston’s gorgeous waterfront at TAMO Bistro + Bar located in the Seaport District. The TAMO Terrace is open for dinner Tuesday through Thursday from 5:30pm-9:30pm and Friday – Saturday from 5:30pm-10:30pm. Reservations can easily be made online at www.tamoboston.com.  For the early birds and brunch goers, TAMO Bistro + Bar is now serving breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am to 11:30am. The new menu features all of your breakfast favorites, from Yogurt Parfaits to Eggs Benedict, as well as more unique dishes like a Lobster Omelet. You can see a full menu here! 

Paris Creperie Seaport

Paris Creperie Seaport will be expanding its patio in the One Seaport courtyard with ample outdoor seating and its popular “loveseat’” style tables.  A dog friendly brunch is offered on weekends with special treats for four legged guests to enjoy.   

Lookout Rooftop at The Envoy

Overlooking the scenic Boston Harbor and city skyline, Lookout Rooftop boasts breathtaking views, handcrafted specialty cocktails and craveworthy culinary delights created by Two Time Chopped Champion Chef, Tatiana Rosana. 

Il Giardino Seaport

II Giardino Seaport will Open May 1, 2021 and is open to all ages and in the event of rain, all seating will be beneath the tent.
