Sail Boston 2026 Special Events: Here’s What You Can Look Forward To

The Tall Ships will take over Boston Harbor from July 11th through July 16th, and with the impressive fleet comes a full lineup of free events for visitors of all ages.

Meet Boston Parade of Sail – Saturday, July 11
Watch dozens of Tall Ships sail into Boston Harbor in a spectacular procession.

Opening Night Fireworks – Saturday, July 11
Celebrate the arrival of the fleet with fireworks over Boston Harbor.

Free Public Ship Tours – July 11–15
Step aboard participating vessels and explore the ships up close.

Sail Boston Festival – Throughout the week
Enjoy live entertainment, exhibits, family-friendly activities, and waterfront fun.

Crew & Cadet Parade – Monday, July 13

Closing Night Fireworks – Wednesday, July 15
