A push for safer streets and sections of streets without cars during pandemic times
We’re staying at home. We’re practicing social distancing. With warmer weather on the way, City Councilor-at-Large Michelle Wu and City Councilor Liz Breadon, would like to see some more space on our streets for pedestrians and cyclists to continue to practice social distancing – like what the DCR did with Day Blvd.
At next week’s City Council meeting, a formal hearing will be requested. You can see the order for a hearing below with the details.
