DCR Announces some changes to Day Blvd.

In addition to shutting down some roadways in JP, the DCR announced its shutting parts of Day Boulevard beginning at dusk on Friday in an effort help out pedestrians, bicyclists and people riding scooters who want to practice social distancing due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Day Boulevard will be shut down to cars between Farragut Road and Shore Drive until at least Monday allowing pedestrians and bikes etc. to access the asphalt in that area.
As a reminder, ALL DCR restrooms, visitor centers, playgrounds, hockey rinks, campgrounds, athletic fields and courts, golf courses, and coastal beach reservation parking areas are CLOSED to aid in the prevention of spreading COVID-19.
