Eat:
Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar is celebrating 2017 with not one but two days of brunch.  Sunday it’s brunch as usual – well, it’s anything but usual at Loco – starting at 10am.  On Monday, enjoy a holiday brunch with live music from Conscious Reggae from 11:30am to 3pm.  Brunch begins at 10am! For a full menu of deliciousness visit here!

Drink:
Lincoln can cure your hangover!  Enjoy specialty boozy cocktails for New Year’s Day!  Feast on Short Rib Poutine, Breakfast Pizza, Fruity Pebble Pancakes, and some special additions too!  Stick around for the Pats game at 1pm.  Lincoln will have screens down, sound on for the game and then a DJ playing during the commercials.  Live music begins at 6pm!  Sweet!

Celebrate:
Still looking for a spot to ring in 2017 in Southie? New Year’s Eve is the biggest party night of the year. But why not skip the frenzy downtown, the struggle for a cab and the fight for a drink and stay local? Here are some of our favorite picks for a very Southie New Year’s Eve.

Shop:
Need something to wear this New Year’s eve?  How about a little sparkle and shine!  Check out these looks from South Boston shops!

Flow:
Instead of popping champagne on New Year’s Eve,  how about celebrating with a little yoga!  Join South Boston Yoga at their 10th Annual New Year’s Eve Celebration.  Join studio owner David Vendetti for a 2 hour celebratory yoga class combining yoga, meditation, reflection, and gratitude – the perfect recipe for manifesting a beautiful year to come.  Cookies, chai, and socializing will be waiting for you in 2017 (after class!)  All levels welcome!  $30 in advance.  $35 at the door!

Plunge:
We hear the best way to cure a hangover is to dive into the freezing cold ocean for a swim!  While there is no scientific research to back that up, it’s a great way to help out the Scleroderma Foundation!  What better way to start off 2016 then by doing something for a great cause!  Meet Kevin Conroy and friends in front of L Street Tavern at 8am on Sunday, January 1st at 9:30am and then be escorted down L Street by 103rd Postal Fire Column Pipes and Drums.  At the L Street Bathhouse, strip down and take an ice-cold plunge!  Warm up back at L Street Tavern for raffles, prizes and a really good time!  Even if you are too chicken to jump into the freezing cold ocean, come by to support the participants brave enough to take the plunge and to support the Scleroderma Foundation!  You can make a donation either by check or by visiting here!
