Eat:
Lola!  L-O-L-A, Lola!  Southie welcomes Lola 42 to the Seaport District!  This new bistro and sushi bar just opened its doors at 22 Liberty Drive will feature an eclectic menu with such items as Japanese izakaya snacks and sushi,  seafood, burgers, bolognese and more! The 80 seat restaurant hopes to open a new 40 seat- patio just in time for the warm weather!  Lola 42 also features a fun cocktail menu with martinis, wine, beer and sake!  Lola will open at  5 p.m. nightly. To check out their menu visit here! 

Drink:
Publico’s courtyard patio is open and this weekend’s forecast looks perfect for enjoying it!  Stop by and sip on one of their perfectly hand crafted cocktails like such gems as the French Ninja – a refreshing combination of Suntory Toki whiskey and calvados. The menu at Publico offers globally inspired food featuring items like empanadas, tacos, and pizzettas, small sharable plates of steamed mussels, ceviche, and larger plates like steak frites, bolognese and mahi mahi.  Perfect for sharing so invite some friends!

See:
555 Gallery jumps into summer with their new exhibition! Opening reception takes place on Saturday, May 20th from 5pm-8pm.  Enjoy Two unique site specific installations and a collection of photographs, sculpture and paintings that propel us into that great season, summer.  Stop by and enjoy some refreshments and mix and mingle with your friends and neighbors as you take in some art in Southie.

Dance:
Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is bringing the crowd-favorite Patriot Fest back for another year. The 2nd annual party will be hosted at the Lawn on D on May 20th with country favorites Tyler Farr and Eric Paslay rocking out all day long. The fun starts at 4pm with local artists Dalton and The Sheriffs and Louie Bello. The concert kicks-off Massachusetts Fallen Heroes’ Patriot Week, which is held between Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day and honors the Fallen, Gold Star families and local Veterans with events across the state.  Doors open at 3pm and you must be 21+ to attend! Don’t miss the food, fun, and good music this year, all for a great cause! Watch:
The Celtics face the dreaded Cavaliers for game 2 on Friday at 8:30pm and then again on Sunday at 8:30pm.  Wondering where to watch the game?  We’ve got some suggestions here!

Cruise:
Barstool Sports is hosting a Freedom Cruise to raise some funds for Heal Our Heroes.  The fun takes place on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 20th at 6pm on the Spirit of Boston!  Tickets are $125-$250 and include dinner, open bar and night of fun on the high seas!  For ticket information visit here!

Laugh:
Some on out for a night of laughs for a great cause!  It’s Comedy Night for St. Peter Academy on Saturday, May 20th from 7pm-11pm at the legendary Lithuanian Club – 368 West Broadway!  Tickets are $25 – Cash bar, light refreshments and of course, lots of comedy!

Support:
Support the South Boston Public Library this weekend at their “Friends of the Library” book sale on Saturday, May 20th from 10AM to 3PM.  Hard covered books, paperbacks, DVD’s, plus a large collection of presidential books will be on sale!   Free coffee for all customers!

Sweat:
Sweat Crawl your way from studio to studio in Southie!  Social Boston Sports is hosting this action packed crawl including yoga, kickboxing, cycling with some extra sweating in between!  The fun begins at 12:30 at Radiant Yoga and includes stops at Everybody Fights, The Handle Bar and ends at Coppersmith.  Cost is $35.
