On Thursday morning, one Southie resident stumbled upon this seemingly innocent note written in light blue marker at the corner of N +5th.
But the message was threatening. “Pick up your dog shit or I’ll fuck you up!!”
And to be honest, if you’re a dog owner, you should be picking up after your dog! And for the love of God, throw your dog poop bags away!

Remember always someone out there tougher than you dogs shit sometimes you always don’t have a bag because you forget to put a new roll in never realized you were out of toilet paper . Tough guy

I’ve honestly found the majority of southie dog owners to be very responsible. We added poop bag dispensers to the park near my home and it’s done a lot to decrease the amount of left dog droppings. I actually haven’t seen any since the bag dispenser was installed. Maybe putting them up around the city could help?
Glad that adding poop bag dispensers in the neighborhood park has worked. Putting dog poop bag dispensers in parks throughout the city sounds like an idea that has come, and would be extremely helpful.
