Universal Hub is reporting that the Boston Licensing Board ordered Rosa Mexicano, 155 Seaport Blvd. to shut down for one night after BPD discovered they had more customers than allowed under current COVID restrictions this past weekend.

On Friday, January 29th, a patron inside Rosa Mexicano, made a 311 call about the overcrowding.  Detectives from C-6 found 133 people inside when the restaurant should not have had more than 74.

The licensing board ordered a one-day Friday suspension for the Seaport restaurant. Kava Neo-Taverna at 315 Shawmut Ave in the South End also received a similar suspension for Covid-19 violations.
