Back in the day, The Quiet Man Pub and their famous steak tips was one of the most popular spots in Southie for lunch and dinner!  The Quiet Man is long gone – replaced by the Starbucks at Broadway Station but guess what?  You can still taste their delicious steak tips – you’ll just need to leave Southie and venture to the South Shore.

According to the Boston Herald, a new restaurant in Quincy Center called 16C will feature the missed South Boston dish!  Kerri Lynch-Delany – niece of local celebrity chef Barbara Lynch and daughter of Paul Lynch – co-owner of The Quiet Man – is the owner of this soon to be Quincy hot spot.  Lynch-Delany is also the owner of Babycakes Bakery, also in Quincy.   In addition to the Quiet Man steak tips, 16C will feature pizza, fried calamari, meatballs, salads, local beers, and homemade baked goods for dessert.

Whether you remember the good old days of Southie or are new to the neighborhood, you should take a road trip to Quincy to check out 16C – and definitely order the steak tips!
