Celebrate Cinco de Mayo by drinking margaritas and chowing down on chips and guacamole. Cinco de Mayo (for those of you who flunked high school Spanish) is on May 5th.  Here are some local neighborhood businesses that are celebrating! Check back as this list will be updated as needed! 

Loco is Cinco de Mayo Central

Loco is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with 5 days of fun starting May 1st! Visit their Instagram to stay up to date all the things happening, including oysters, giveaways, a taco eating contest, live music, food and drink specials, and more!  Loco also has a catering menu for Cinco, just in case you’re celebrating at home! 

Hunter’s Kitchen + Ghost Tequila Dinner

Fresh

Join Fresh for a night celebrating tequila – cue the music!  Featuring three different sections (Celebrity Tequilas, Tequila Ocho, and Mezcal de Leyendas) with four Agave expressions per table, offering a sample of the tequila and a mini cocktail of each!  This fun night takes place on Thursday, May 1st at 6pm!  Tickets are $50 and include 12 different tastings of Agaves, 12 mini-cocktails, chips + salsa, and  15% off all retail purchases of Tequila to take home your favorites!  You can learn more here! 

The Broadway

The Broadway will be featuring some special additions to the menu, including tacos and margaritas!

Yellow Door

In addition to the launch of its new summer cocktail menu, Yellow Door will have some special additions to its menu, plus it’s opening early at all three of its locations!  You can start the Cinco celebration at 11:30am!

Local 149

Local 149 will be celebrating from May 2nd – May 5th with $3 tacos – sweet chili shrimp, ranchero chicken, gringo beef, plus a taco dip trio for $16 and specialty cocktails!  Local 149 will also be donating $1 from every margarita sold from May 2nd – May 5th to Colin’s Joy Project!

XYZ Lounge at Aloft

XYZ Lounge at Aloft on D Street will have some cocktail specials to celebrate Cinco!

Borrachito Taqueria
