Free Painting Class at the Recreation Station

On Friday from 1pm-3pm, join local artists for free, fun-filled events at the Recreation Station Art Series. Complimentary food and art supplies will be provided. Roll up your sleeves, put on those paint clothes, and join us on the Pappas Way green space! You can register here!

Family First Friendship Party

Join friends and family to help support Joe Keating + Mari Walsh at a friendship party at Florian Hall on Saturday at 7pm. DJ Kait and Jinty McGrath will be performing. Money raised will help the family as Mari undergoes breast cancer treatment and Joe awaits a kidney and heart transplant. Tickets are $20.  You can learn more here. 

Tunnel to Towers Foundation 5K in Southie

Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families. A 5K will take place on Sunday around Castle Island at 10am.  You can walk or run.  Register here! 

Daisy Face Flow Yoga on Saturday

Join Morgan from Daisy Face Flow every Saturday morning for a weekend flow on the beach – the best way to kick off your weekend on Saturdays at 10am at Pleasure Bay Beach! The class is perfect for any level yogi and tickets are $15 per person! The class will meet right by the gazebo and parking is available first-come first serve.  Come flow! You can learn more here! 

Flower Hour at The Wild One

Enjoy some creativity at C Street Pop Up with the Wild One – Flower Hour!  It’s like Happy Hour, but better.  Enjoy an evening of playing with flowers and sipping on delicious bevvies.  Here’s how it works:

  • Arrive anytime between 5-8PM.  The floral arranging takes around 35-45 minutes, so we recommend arriving no later than 7PM.
  • Pick up your bloom bundle, vase, scissors, instructions to make a self-guided centerpiece, and glass of Wölffer Estate Cider Rosé (NA options available and are the same price)
  • Find a seat, read the instructions and get to Blooming & Boozing!
  • Staff members will be walking around to assist as needed!
  • One drink is included in the ticket price, but we highly encourage you to stay for more :).

Back to School Party at C Street Pop Up

This family friendly event takes place on Sunday from 1-4pm at C Street Pop Up at Iron Works.  The event is free and there will be ice cream for purchase.  Here’s the line up:

Boston Children’s Choir – performance 1-1:10

Urbanity Community Dance Class (all ages) – 2:00-2:30

Boston Music Project Funk Band (Pro performance with BMP youth)- 2:30 to 4pm

Lincoln will feature a DJ on Summer Fridays from 1pm-4pm on Sunday it’s the Legends of Summer Band from 6pm-9pm.

Capo is featuring Steve Memmelo on Friday, Bondra & Morris on Saturday and on Sunday it’s Sinatra Sunday.

Loco will have DJ Alex Walker on Saturday at 9pm and on Sunday it’s Big Party Orchestra from 5pm-8pm.

Hunter’s is hosting Bondra + Morris on Friday from 3pm-6pm, Lars Chappell on Saturday from 3pm-6pm and on Sunday it’s KR 2pm-5pm and Matty Sheehan from 9pm-12pm.

Enjoy live music with Lindsay Foote at at C Street Pop Up at Iron Works on Friday from 6pm-7pm.

Shenannigans will have DJ KJ at 10pm on Friday and on Saturday it’s Tim Nickerson from 4pm-7pm followed by DJ Artie at 1opm
