Eat:
Have you tried Chickadee yet? Chickadee has opened its doors at 21 Dry Dock. According to Boston Eater, John DaSilva and Ted Kilpatrick – both from No.9 Park are the people behind the restaurant named for our state bird and will serve up lunch and dinner with seasonal New England ingredients with a dash of Mediterranean. You can check out their menus here! This part of the neighborhood also is home of the America’s Test Kitchen Food Truck, soon to be Flour Bakery and a new gelato shop! Sweet! Drink:
It’s National Beer Lovers Day! Head to the Seaport District and visit the new Cisco Brewers new pop-up beer garden featuring Cisco Brewers award-winning craft beer paired with raw bar and tacos from Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar. This pop up will be open weekly Wednesday through Friday, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturdays from noon to 11 p.m. through the fall. The outdoor beer garden features Cisco Brewers’ extensive portfolio of beers on tap, including New England favorites like Whale’s Tale Pale Ale, Grey Lady Wheat Ale, and its newest year-round beer, Gripah, a grapefruit session IPA, as well as Nantucket Vineyards Wines and Malus Malum Ciders.

Honor:
It’s the Annual Rededication of the South Boston Vietnam Memorial.  The events begins with a Mass at 10:30am at St. Brigid followed by the rededication ceremony at Medal of Honor of Honor Park on Sunday, September 9th.  “If you forget my death, then I died in vain.”

Workout:
Free workout! Enjoy a free workout at the new BURNIN’ by Ray in the Seaport! The official opening is September 17th but to celebrate they are offering FREE classes the week leading up to the big day! Take a class September 9th –September 16th to get a sneak peek before anyone else!  Plus, on the official Grand Opening Day, FREE classes will also be available ALL DAY long!  You can sign up here!  BURNIN’ by Ray (the UnGym) is located at 157 Seaport Boulevard in Boston’s Seaport and will be open seven days a week. Check it out!

Watch:
Are you ready for some football? Coppersmith is! They’re hosting a tailgating party on Sunday, September 9th from 11am-5pm for the Pats game! There will be 2 projectors inside, 2 projectors inside and plenty of tailgating snacks! Here are some other suggestions on where to watch in Southie!

Have you ever wanted to see the inside of the Edison? Don’t miss our public tour this Saturday, 9/8 from 9am-11am. It’s a chance to get a look at the beautiful historic turbine halls and hear about our plans for the site.  For more information about this project visit here! 

Breath:
It’s National Yoga Month and why not practice this Saturday at one of the most beautiful places on earth – Castle Island! This all-levels vinyasa flow will have you moving, breathing and working up a sweat for 60-minutes while overlooking the spectacular views of Boston Harbor. Each class taught by a yoga instructor from Yoga Around Town. Bring your own mat or towel and meet Castle Island near the information sign at Fort Independence. Class starts at 10:15am Register here!

Rooftop:
Well, since it’s National Yoga Month – another yoga class!  This one with East Side Yoga at Publico’s rooftop!  It’s a $10 cash class on Sunday, September 9th  and Sunday, September 23rd from 11am-12pm.  Stick around for brunch later!  Your class fee includes one free mimosa with your brunch.  (Brunch not included.) Don’t forget your mat and water.  Sign up online, bring cash with you to class!
