Fresh Fish at Seapoint
Whether you are a practicing Catholic or just love fish – Seapoint’s famous fish is back for Lent. Fresh haddock and scallops will be on the menu on Fridays. Enjoy your seafood fried, baked or parmesan style over pasta. Each meal is served with salad, bread, and your choice of potato. Seaport is also featuring a Soul/Disco Night with Dennis Taylor on Saturday beginning at 8pm.
Madi Gras Masquerade Party at Publico
Publico will be hosting a Mardi Gras Masquerade on Friday, February 16th. It will take place in the lodge and be co-hosted by Triple Eight Distillery, which has the best blueberry vodka. Triple Eight will be giving out swag, giveaways, and samples. Make sure to wear your best Madi Gras outfit, and Publico will bring the beads, booze, and beats. DJ Wyatt will start at 9pm.
Boston YPA Yoga & Brunch at CIB/Bardo’s
Spend your Saturday, February 17th, enjoying yoga, brunch, and beer at Castle Island Brewery! The event starts at 10am with a 45-minute yoga flow for all levels. After the class, you will get a beer or seltzer of your choice and two slices of Bardo’s pizza. Get your tickets here! Day Drinkin’ at Capo with Dalton & the Sheriffs
One of Southie’s favorite bands Dalton & the Sheriffs are taking over Capo Basement on Saturday February 17th at 1pm. Tickets are $22 and doors open at 12pm. Get your tickets here!

Cold Plunge with Southie Cold Plunge
A Southie cold plunge community recently popped up on Instagram, organizing revitalizing dips each weekend. Their second group plunge is going to be held on Sunday, February 18th, at 10 am. Valentine’s Day Pet Portraits
Bond Vet, located in the Seaport, will be offering custom heart-shaped paintings of your pet. The artist, Bridget Foster Reed, will be there on Friday, February 16th, from 5-7pm. Bring your pet or their best picture for reference.
Lithuanian Kitchen is open this weekend
The Lith Club Kitchen is open on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-7pm. Enjoy traditional Lithuanian food, really great bar pizza and drinks! The vibes are old-school. It’s a hidden Southie gem!
Mardi Gra Masquerade Tea
On Sunday from 4pm-8pm, dbar is getting into the Mardi Gras spirit with a Masquerade Tea with DJ Begbick.
Betty the Yeti Fun in the Seaport
Get your cameras ready. This Sunday from 12-3pm you can have a custom photo taken with our favorite cryptozoological queen. Find her on her throne front and center (would you expect anything less?) at Betty’s Blizzard Bluff in the Superette Courtyard. You can also grab a special Betty-inspired cocktail (or mocktail!) for a great cause. This weekend is a long weekend and the following neighborhood spots will be serving brunch on Friday, Saturday, Sunday AND MONDAY: Publico, Shy Bird, Lincoln, Hunter’s, Loco + The Broadway.

13th Annual Presidents’ Day Festival (In-Person and Virtual)
Join the JFK Library for a day of presidential storytelling, musical performances, and more that brings history to life for all ages. The Festival will feature performances of Kennedy campaign songs, and Museum tours will highlight President Kennedy’s time in the White House, with additional elements focusing on democratic values and the importance of civic participation to complement this election year. On Saturday the 17th, of February the South Boston Public Library will have a book sale. The Friends of the Library is putting on the Book Sale as a fund raiser for our library. The books, DVDS, CDS and vinyl are at rock bottom prices. 930 am till 3pm will be the sale time with a Bach concert from 130 pm till 230 pm. Hope to see you there. Thanks!
