Pumpkin Palooza

On Saturday October 26th and Sunday, October 27th from12pm-10pm., bring the family to the Lawn on D. There will be to pumpkins to carve, costume parade, trackless train, roving performers, live music at night and more! You can check out the full schedule here!

Trader Joe’s opening Friday

Big News, Southie!  We’ve been waiting with bated breath for the opening of Trader Joe’s and now it’s happening!  According to a media advisory the Fort Point location will open on Friday, October 25th with a grand opening celebration with music, tasting and giveaways!  Check out Heather’s Top 10 for Trader Joe’s here!

Seapoint Halloween Party with DJ Dru Errico

Legendary Southie DJ Dru Errico will be spinning the tunes at Seapoint’s Halloween Party on Friday, October 25th at 7pm at the upstairs function room.  Costumes required.  Prizes for Best Costumes.  $20 cover charge.

Listen to the music at Capo

After a cozy dinner of pasta and red wine for two upstairs at Capo by the fireplace, dance it off later at the Supper Club.  Three nights of live music!  Friday night it’s Sugar Babies, on Saturday Vincent King and Sunday the legendary Sinatra Sunday!

Southie Spooktacular Halloween Parade

Get ready for the Southie Spooktacular on Saturday, October 26th at M Street Park! There will be a costume parade for kids and dogs, candy, prizes, photo ops and more! All welcome!  4:00-6:00pm.  Brought to you by the Quirk Group, Fairway Mortgage, and Hub Church.

A special Citizens Connect To Bayside meeting will take pace on Saturday, October 26th from 10am-12:30pm for a planning session for the future Bayside Development at Carson Place – 180 Mt. Vernon Street.  This event has been organized by Andrew Square Civic Association, Columbia Saving Hill Civic Association, Harbor Point Community Task Force, and John McCormack Civic Association.  You can register for this event here! 

Celebrate at the Children’s Magical Halloween Castle at Fort Independence

Our own Fort Independence will transform into a spooky, but kid-friendly, magical haunted castle. Stop by on Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th from 12pm-4pm for drinks, snacks, story tellers, and tour the magic castle in your best costume.  Stop by Sullivan’s and treat yourself to a hot dog or some ice cream! 

Halloween Costume Bash at Stats

Stats in Southie will be hosting a good old fashioned Halloween bash on Saturday, October 26th beginning at 8pm. Dress up in your favorite Halloween Costume and you might just win a a prize! Cash prize for best costumer. DJ Artie V will be spinning the tunes!

Back to the 90’s/00’s at Backyard Betty’s

Backyard Betty’s is hosting a 90s/00s Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26th at 9pm.  No cover and a DJ will be playing.
