For more than 30 years, the third Monday of January has been set aside for commemorative events and community service activities nationwide to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The City of Boston and Boston University will present “A Day of Celebration in Honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr” on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. You can get the details here. And Citizens Bank will once again be partnering with museums and non-profits throughout the communities it serves to deliver enriching activities to celebrate Dr. King’s dedication to service and his passion for strengthening our communities. Obviously this year events and activities are virtual, you can see a full schedule here!

Apres Ski at the Lodge at Publico!

Skip the long drive to the mountains and cozy up at The Lodge at Publico! The Lodge is officially open for another season complete with fire pits and their signature shot-skis!  Located right inside Publico’s courtyard, this apres ski pop-up has plenty of flannel blankets, fake snow, faux moose heads to create a warm and cozy vibe. Enjoy spiked hot chocolate, mulled cider, classic hot toddies and plenty of apres ski themed snacks like grilled cheese, toasty hot pizza, and arancini bites with truffle aioli to enjoy by the fire! Publico will also be open for MLK Brunch!

Several days of brunch is a new big thing in the neighborhood. Publico now has Friday Brunch where you can enjoy such deliciousness like English Muffin Sliders, Bag of Donuts, and the Publico Burger from 11am-3pm. Capo is also offering Brunch on Fridays – hello Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Espresso Martinis! Roza Lyons announced they’ll be serving brunch on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!  Enjoy the Breakfast Burrito, Eggs Benedict, or the Lyons Omelet and wash it down with a Manmosa!  Brunch is served from 10am-3pm. 

NFL Playoff Football and Welcome Back NHL

From sporty snacks, game day specials like $5 pizzas and $12 domestic pitchers and $14 imported pitchers at Seapoint, plus VIP game watching, it’s all right here! Here’s a schedule of football this weekend! The Bruins are playing Thursday at 7pm, Sunday at 1pm and Monday at 1pm.

DIY Pancakes from Paramount

The Paramount announced a new and fun way to enjoy their pancakes. The DIY Pancake Kit comes with 32oz of Paramount pancake mix, choice of three toppings including chocolate chips, blueberries and Oreos) + 4oz of syrup. The kit is $25 and must be ordered a day in advance!
