Decades Night at Local 149 

Local 149 will be throwing it back to the 90’s on Friday, January 12th, from 7pm till close. There will be 90’s music videos, and throwback shows on the TVs. MLK Celebration

The City of Boston + Boston University will present “A Day of Celebration in Honor Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr” on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Metcalf Hall on the second floor of the George Sherman Union at Boston University!  It will be broadcasted live. New England Boat Show 

Calling all boat and water enthusiasts, The Boat Show is coming to town this weekend at The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. It will be running Friday-Sunday from 12-8pm. The event will have boats and yachts you can board, water activities, and even a waterskiing squirrel! And yes, you read that right, and apparently, its name is Twiggy! It will be a great way to escape the snow and plan your summer. Get tickets here!

Self-Defense Training at Peter Welch’s Gym

Boston Children’s Chorus Martin Luther King, Jr Tribute Concert

Boston Children’s Chorus (BCC) is thrilled to announce the organization’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute Concert, “In The Name Of Love,” which will take place at Boston’s Symphony Hall at 4:00pm on Monday, January 15th. The concert will highlight movements for equality across marginalized communities throughout American history, centering powerful stories from the LGBTQIA+ community and more!  Get the details here.

Curling at SNOWPORT 

You know the game you saw at the Winter Olympics? You can now try it for yourself at SNOWPORT. The curling area is located on Harbor Way. They accept walk-ups and reservations. The lane is reserved in 30-minute increments and can hold up to 12 people. It runs from Friday and Saturday from 11-9pm and Sunday 11-8pm. It also runs during the week if you can’t make it on the weekends. Book your reservation here!
