The Handle Bar will be offering classes in studio with 12 bikes six-feet apart this week. The Ice Creamsmith in Lower Mills has reopened for its 45th season on Monday and Dorchester Brewing Co. reopened their taproom (both indoor seating and outdoor seating)! Book a ride, get an ice cream, and enjoy some beer! 

Sign up and run the South Boston Boys and Girls Club St. Patrick’s Day Race

The annual St. Patrick’s Day Road Race is going virtual in 2021. This race is a fun, healthy and a meaningful community event, full of spirit and good cheer and positive energy. It is also a crucial fundraiser for Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club’s youth development and teen programs. Run, Walk, Bike, Peloton, Treadmill 3.1 miles on a course and location of your choosing. You can even row if you want! Participate anytime between March 13 and March 21, 2021. Be sure to share your course and training and related photos in our online community! Happy Birthday Publico

For four years, Publico has been serving up delicious globally inspired food and crafted cocktails at 11 Dorchester Street.  The indoor atrium with retractable roof transforms into Publico Beach Club in the summer – complete with frozen drinks, cabana-style seating, nautical decor and maritime kitsch – and in the winter enjoy the Publico Lodge with plenty of flannel blankets, fake snow, faux moose heads and shot-skis!
