USS Constitution is scheduled to go underway from Charlestown Navy Yard on July 4th at 10:00 a.m in honor of Independence Day! USS Constitution’s cruise will be viewable from the Boston Harborwalk, Castle Island, and Charlestown Navy Yard. There will fire a 21-gun salute viewable from Fort Independence on Castle Island at approximately 11:30 a.m. While you’re out at Castle Island, you might as well get some lunch or ice cream at Sullivan’s! The turnaround will commemorate the 249th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. 

Island Creek Oysters Pop-up

Island Creek Oysters is popping up in The Seaport this summer! This pop-up will feature Island Creek’s signature oysters, tinned fish, caviar, and shareable snacks like clam dip and bluefish pâté. Additionally, they’ll be serving up refreshing beverages, including beer, wine, and canned cocktails. They will be open daily from 11am to 11pm. Stop by and enjoy some delicious seafood!

Puttshack: All You Can Putt

Grab your four legged friend and bring them to brunch!! Yes, you read that right! Local 149 is offering a special dog menu including a Doggie Bowl with chicken or beef, rice, peas & carrots, Breakfast Bowl with scrambled eggs, sweet potatoes, and peas, and Millie’s Doggie Ice Cream for dessert. Boston Harborfest

Boston Harborfest, one of the country’s largest Fourth of July festivals, returns to Boston Harbor and Downtown Boston for its 43rd edition July 2-4. The long-running festival, celebrating Boston’s revolutionary history and its everyday vibrancy, will feature dozens of events and activities, including live entertainment, historical re-enactments, integration with U.S. Navy Week, fireworks, and more. The latest event schedule is now available at www.bostonharborfest.com.

The Nautilus Pier 4

The Nautilus Pier 4 will be open on Fourth of July!  The perfect place to enjoy dinner and drinks before the fireworks plus Black Out Barbie – the wildly popular cocktail is back!  It’s starts with fresh strawberry juice infused with a touch of thyme; a house-made sour mix prepared with lemon and lime juices; and a touch of simple syrup. The boozy component comes via blanco tequila and a final top-off of sparkling wine.  “It’s lush and juicy. It’s got some natural sweetness, a little bit of citrus, and then the bubbles help lighten it up,”  Clinton Terry creator of the Barbie!

Park City

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular

At 8pm on July 4th, the annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular will take place along the Esplanade, with a concert performance at the Hatch Shell. Musical guests include Le-Ann Rimes, Leslie Odem Jr., Bel Biv Devoe + more. The fireworks display over the Charles River begins at 10:30 pm but you’ll want to arrive when the event gates open at 12pm to secure a spot. The Playwright – features DJ sets on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 9pm followed by Country Sundays with live bands starting at 6pm.  Check out the schedule here!
