Fourth of July Celebrations – 2025

The Fourth of July is on Friday, and celebrations are taking place all week long! We’ve rounded up everything from fireworks to special events just for you! Happy Birthday, America! (Check back, as this list may be updated.)
Cookout
Having a backyard cookout for the Fourth? From hot dogs to hamburgers to their delicious sides, Foodies has everything from fresh produce to desserts to beer and wine to make your get-together perfect!
Stars, Stripes and Strings Event at Love Child with Caught in Southie
Kick off July with a night filled with creativity and community! ✨ We’re teaming up with our friends at Love Child to host Stars, Stripes, and Strings — a festive make-and-sip night where you’ll design your own bandana bracelet or necklace and build a mini red, white, and blue bouquet to take home. We’ll have two activity stations filled with patriotic charms and a bloom bar full of summer stems. Think summer camp, but cuter — and with sauvy B (and other non-alcoholic beverages). Arrive anytime during this time window. You’ll need at least 30 minutes to complete your necklace/bracelet. We can’t wait to see you! Reserve your spot here!
Order a Case of Wine
Join Social Wines Social Club! The ‘Social Club’ is Social Wine’s affectionate name for their client list. When you check out at the register (name and email), they remember all of your purchases. It’s a great way to refresh your memory on wines you’ve tried and helps them make suggestions for other wines based on them. They also require a Social Club membership for deliveries and can easily take phone orders by looking up your previous purchases. It’s free and helps Social Wines dial in those recommendations! So stop by to pick up some wine and join the social club!
Boston Harborfest
Boston Harborfest, one of the country’s largest Fourth of July festivals, returns to Boston Harbor and Downtown Boston for its 43rd edition July 2-4. The long-running festival, celebrating Boston’s revolutionary history and its everyday vibrancy, will feature dozens of events and activities, including live entertainment, historical re-enactments, integration with U.S. Navy Week, fireworks, and more. The latest event schedule is now available at www.bostonharborfest.com.
Baby, You’re a Firework
On July 2nd, head to the Seaport District to see fireworks along the water via HarborFest around 9:30 p.m. Spots to watch – the Barking Crab, Envoy’s Outlook rooftop or Nautilus Pier 4. For a romantic pick – head to Mastro’s Ocean Club.
The Nautilus Pier 4
The Nautilus Pier 4 will be open on Fourth of July! The perfect place to enjoy dinner and drinks before the fireworks plus Black Out Barbie – the wildly popular cocktail is back! It’s starts with fresh strawberry juice infused with a touch of thyme; a house-made sour mix prepared with lemon and lime juices; and a touch of simple syrup. The boozy component comes via blanco tequila and a final top-off of sparkling wine. “It’s lush and juicy. It’s got some natural sweetness, a little bit of citrus, and then the bubbles help lighten it up,” Clinton Terry creator of the Barbie!
