90s Night and Mardi Gras Corn Hole Tournament at PKL

Let PKL transport you to the 90’s on Friday, February 28th from 6 to 9pm. Jimmy Westfall will be singing all the 90’s classics. Make sure to stop by! And Saturday is their 3rd Annual Mardi Gras Corn Hole Tournament! The 50/50 Cornhole Tournament will be double elimination, with a limit of 30 teams. It is a $25 entry fee per team and the winners get 50% of the entry fees! Check in is at 12:30. There will also be a NOLA kickin’ brass band, hurricane cocktails, beads, and more! Sunday Sweat at Loco Lounge

Sunday Sweat is taking over The Loco Lounge for a group sculpt class on Sunday, March 2nd at 10am. Studio78 instructor Ally Enos will be leading the 45-minute sculpt class, which is a great full-body workout! The tickets are $25 and include the class, a mimosa, and complimentary patatas bravas! South Boston Moms Club is hosting their Annual Southie Shamrock Splash! It will be held on Sunday, March 2nd at 11am. Boston Supports LAFD

A special night of friendship and fun to benefit the LAFD’s Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firefighters Fund and Wildfire Victims on Saturday, March 1st at 7pm at the Boston Teachers’ Union – 180 Mount Vernon Street.  DJ James MacDougall and Dennis Taylor will be performing.  There will be raffles, dancing and more.  Tickets are $25.

Bird Walk with Nature Man Mike

for all you birdwatchers out there, Nature Man Mike, a local legend, is offering a bird walk on Sunday, March 2nd from 8am-10am at Arnold Arboretum – meet in front of the Hunnewell Buidling at 125 Arborway.  It’s a free event but you must register here!  This two-hour walk is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced birders. Binoculars will be available to borrow on a first-come-first-serve basis, but you are encouraged to bring your own!

Return of The Ice Creamsmith

For over 40 years, The Ice Creamsmith in Lower Mills has been churning out delicious made-from-scratch ice cream!  Making their ice cream in small batches on-site – (it goes from production to scoop in as little as 24 hours), the Ice Creamsmith has been delighting generations with their sweet treats!  It will open for its 49th season on March 1st!
