Christmas on Uranus

The award-wining, Vaudeville-inspired comedy troupe has moved to the South Boston Lithuanian Club on West Broadway! For the last 25 years, the Gold Dust Orphans were performing at Machine on Boylston Street but thanks to the building getting developed into condos – will now call South Boston their home. The orphans are now performing “Christmas on Uranus” at the Lithuanian Club. You can order your tickets here! The show will run December 5th – December 22nd Thursday – Sunday at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday at 4pm.

Santa Brunch at the Playwright

Santa will be in town on Sunday and he’s heading to The Playwright for some brunch between 10am-12pm.  Plan on getting your picture with Santa!  Stick around the Pats game after!

Giving back never tasted so good

The Broadway and Ghost Tequila are asking you to to help raise money for the South Boston Boys & Girls Club! The LOCKS 4 LOCALS program has a goal of $10k by the end of 2019! Every time this drink is sold, it comes with a lock, and $5 will be donated to the lock fund! Do your part and drink up!  This month’s cocktail is the “Naughty or Spice!”

Let’s go skating

Snowport Winter Village has debuted in the old space that once featured Cisco Brewers summer pop-up!  The Interactive winter wonderland features a signature ice skating rink and lots of complimentary winter activities, from iceless outdoor curling to yoga and warm beverages. Snowport Winter Village spans over 7,000 square feet in total and will be located at 65 Northern Ave and be available through February.   Get more details here!

Halfway to Dot Day 5K and Toy Drive

This is a family friendly run for all ages and abilities along the paths of DCR’s Pope John Paul Park in Dorchester on Saturday, December 14th at 9am. The course is certified and sanctioned by USA Track and Field – New England.  After the race, please join us for the Mayor’s Toy Drive and breakfast at Florian Hall. All youth under 12 who donate a toy are registered at no cost. Registration for adults and teenagers is just $20.  Make sure you register in time for a long sleeve t-shirt!   You can register here!
