Let’s go ice skating in the Seaport: Snowport Winter Village!

On Thursday, December 5th,  Snowport Winter Village will debut in the old space that once featured Cisco Brewers summer pop-up!  The Interactive winter wonderland features a signature ice skating rink and lots of complimentary winter activities, from iceless outdoor curling to yoga and warm beverages. Snowport Winter Village spans over 7,000 square feet in total and will be located at 65 Northern Ave and be available through February.

By mid December, Snowport Winter Village will serve freshly baked waffles by The Waffle Cabin, along with more great things to be announced.

The Details

Snowport Winter Village’s ice rink spans over 3,000 square feet and accommodates more than 200 skaters. It will host a variety of winter festivities, such as vibrant light displays, outdoor iceless curling, yoga, seasonal workshops, live music, and themed skate nights. Come mid-December, Snowport Winter Village will also include a warming tent complete with seasonal food and beverage options for skaters and observers alike to enjoy.

Snowport partner Fjällräven will also bring their Fjallhus tiny home to Snowport Winter Village; the tiny home offers a cozy lounge, free coffee and more for visitors. Fjallhus will be open from December 9 – January 4, 2020.

As part of Snowport’s community programming, Seaport neighbor Outdoor Voices will host a free open-skate on Saturday, December 14th, from 12-2pm; link to RSVP here. Additional offers and special programs will soon be announced.

Snowport Winter Village will be open seven days a week; find hours and further details online at www.bostonseaport.xyz/snowport. It is accessible by MBTA Silver Line at the Courthouse Station stop, and is just a 10 minute walk from South Station. Admission to the ice rink will cost $5 for adults, $3 for youth ages 4 – 12, and is free for children 3 years and younger and active duty military with military ID.  For those who do not have skates, Snowport Winter Village will be equipped with skate rentals for all ages for $5.
