Save the Harbor/Save the Bay is hosting a Beats on the Beach Block Party at the Lawn on D on Friday, August 18th from 5:30p,-9:30pm with performances by Cakeswagg, 1-800-Short-King, Ximena, Pink Navel, Catman, Bright Boy and more!
Breath and move
A new Crown Yoga series will be held Fridays 12-12:45PM on: July 28, August 4, 11, 18, 25, September 15, 22 & 29 at The Superette in the Seaport. “CROWN: Yoga for Conscious Awakening” is an empowering yoga class inspired by the transformative journey depicted in Wendy “MoMa” Michel‘s captivating creative campaign. Through a fusion of movement, breathwork, and mindfulness, “CROWN: Yoga for Conscious Awakening” harnesses the power of the chakra system to guide students on an inward journey. Each class is thoughtfully designed to activate and balance the energy centers within the body, paving the way for a deeper connection to the crown chakra – the gateway to expanded consciousness, enlightenment, and spiritual awakening. Aloft on D Street is transforming the WXYZ Bar into Barbieland on Saturday, August 19th from 6pm-9pm. There will be live music by The Femmes, a life-sized Barbie box for photos, a Barbie-inspired menu, and dress up for a chance to win the Barbiecore costume contest!
