Get ready to browse and shop amidst 100 local merchants, artists, restaurants and organizations along East Broadway from L to I streets featuring the Best of South Boston at the South Boston Street Festival!  The fun takes place on Saturday, September 17th from 11am-4pm! Flow for free! East Side Yoga and Fitness is celebrating the South Boston Street Festival with a FREE Community Vinyasa Flow Class led by Joanna Rosenberg! This class will be limited to 25 people and you must register online. The class will take place on Saturday, September 17th from 1pm-1:45pm. Also, Enjoy 40% off retail purchases at the studio and take advantage of their 10-pack cash sale ($130 normally $145!) during Festival hours 11-4pm.

Be informed. Get involved. On Wednesday, September 14th, Redgate invites the South Boston Community to an open house and meeting about the redevelopment of the old Edison power station.  This meeting will take place at the Tynan Community Center at 6:30pm.

Just add art! Fourth Presbyterian Church (340 Dorchester Street) is taking registrations for its fall session classes for the art and music program Soul Possibilities. Not only will this program include a production of the Wizard of Oz, it will also feature music, art, science classes, magic classes, film making and more! Students ride for free! Kick off your school year with complimentary indoor cycling classes at The Handle Bar! From Sunday, September 11 to Saturday, September 17, current college students and graduate students are invited to ride for free at any of three locations of The Handle Bar including South Boston (141 Dorchester Ave.)! Space is available on a walk-in basis with a student ID.
