Best of South Boston

Get ready to browse and shop amidst 100 local merchants, artists, and organizations along East Broadway from L to I streets featuring the Best of South Boston.  The fun takes place on Saturday, September 15th from 11am-4pm! Take advantage of special discounts from local boutiques like Best Dressed, Bringing Up Baby, Covet, Gogarbaj, Habit, Ku De Ta, Lux Leisure, Southie’s Own, The Beauty Bar, Wears + Wares and many more.

Bring your appetite too!  There will be plenty of food featuring some of Southie’s favorite spots like Backyard Betty’s, Capo, Joseph’s Bakery, Sal’s, Shredded, The Sausage Guy, Sweet Tooth Bakery, and others. Alfresco dining will be available at, The Cranberry Café, Café Porto Bello, The Broadway, The Paramount, The Playwright, and Roza Lyons.

Bring the kids!
Enjoy free children’s activities including face painting, balloon artist, street performances, a roaming band of pirates and lots of surprises.

The Beauty Bar and Nurture Salon and Spa will be on hand offering beauty tips, demonstrations, giveaways and more!

Listen to the music!
This year’s highlights in entertainment will feature Southie’s favorite band, Thomas Park – Lead by front man Paul Eastman, who himself is a South Boston small business owner along with drummer Joe Tobias, will be performing a wide range of music that includes classic rock, dance, R&B, and top 40. The Royal Furs, will be returning once again this year – playing country favorite hits.

There will also be performances by: Peggy Wood’s School of Irish Step Dance, Miss Linda’s Dancers, and more.
