Save the Date! Neighborhood Night at Capo for Colin’s Joy Project! Pajama party time! The Lodge at Publico is hosting a pajama brunch party on Saturday, January 26th from 12pm-3pm! There will be live music by DJ Wyatt to get you dancing and you can win ski lift tickets, Publico gift cards, swag and more!

Spice it up! This cold weather makes us want some hot chocolate! Flour Bakery’s Fiery Hot Chocolate is made with steamed milk, chocolate, chili powder and cayenne pepper! A spicy take on the classic hot chocolate! So good!  We now have a Flour Bakery on Drydock ave!

Hot stuff!  On a cold January night in 1887, flames erupted from the roof of Grand Ten’s historic Southie location on Dot. Ave. Famed local resident Tommy Maguire responded to the blaze by climbing into the rafters and attempting to “undertake the flames with his fists.” To celebrate his heroic effort, Grand Ten created the fierce, fiery, and smokey concoction called Fire Puncher Vodka. On Saturday, January 26th Grand Ten Distilling will host the 7th Annual Fire Puncher Celebration! There will be a full list of of Fire Puncher Vodka cocktails, food, and fun! Government shutdown: the good bad, kind of annoying!  Monday marks day 31st of the partial government shutdown – the longest shutdown in US history! As the fight for the wall at the US-Mexico border continues, around 800,000 federal workers have been working without pay or are on unpaid leave since last month. No end seems to be in sight. Here are some things happening around town including free admission to MFA, New England Aquarium and the BSO for government workers in addition to some other important information.
