Eat up! Dine out Boston (aka Restaurant Week) is back March 3rd-8th and 10th-15th . Make a plan to enjoy lunch for $15, $20, and $25 and dinners for $28, $33 and $38. Perfect excuse to get out of the house and support local restaurants!To view restaurants that are participating by neighborhood, visit here!    Lots of restaurants in the South Boston neighborhoods including Seaport and Fort Point are participating!  Southie’s own Publico will be participating too! The big reveal! The Mayor of Southie will be announced on Tuesday, March 5th at 7:30pm at Roza Lyons! Stop by and see who won the big race!

Try something new! Artists for Humanity is offering new adult classes like painting, drawing and even yoga! Beginning and intermediate levels offered! You can learn more here! 

Make a splash! Hundreds of costumed beach lovers will plunge into the icy waters of Boston Harbor at this year’s Harpoon Shamrock Splash for Save the Harbor/Save the Bay at the BCYF Curley Community Center in South Boston on Sunday, March 10th at noon.  Show your love by taking the icy plunge and warm up after with some Harpoon beer and a burger! All participants will have a chance to win great prizes, including round trip flights on JetBlue*! Registration is $20. You can learn more here! 

Speaking of shamrocks! Make sure to check out our St. Patrick’s Day Guide! It’s our pleasure to bring you all that is hip and happening this St. Patrick’s season leading up to St. Patrick’s Day weekend. We’ll give you suggestions on where to watch the parade; tips on entertaining; where to eat corned beef and cabbage; where to catch some live Irish music; which bars to go to and so much more. This guide will be updated weekly so keep checking for new scoop. Due to the snow, the hearing regarding the South Boston Interim Planning Overlay District and neighborhood-wide zoning that was suppose to take place on Monday, March 4th at 6pm at the Tynan has been canceled.  A new hearing will be scheduled in the future.

Pop Up Shop! Boston Fire Clothing will be at Florian Hall for the annual blood drive on Tuesday March 5th from 9am-3pm. They will be stocked with your St. Patrick’s Day T-Shirts, Hooded Tees and Long Sleeve Tees. Come by with your favorite first responder give blood and check out all of our apparel.
