Prepare for delays on the Red Line

Looks like there is still a long road ahead to get the Red Line back on track (pun intended). MBTA officials said Friday that it will take months to get the Red Line back to full service. Riders should expect slower commutes until at least Labor Day. Get the details here!

Waterfront Development in Your Neighborhood

Harborfront Neighborhood Alliance along with Boston Harbor Now and Conservation Law Foundation will host a community meeting to discuss the MA Public Waterfront Act (Chapter 91) and how it can improve our waterfront. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 26th from 6pm-8:30pm at the Boston Society of Architects located at 290 congress Street. Space is limited and you can register here.

Get Down 2019 at Underground at InkBlock

Back for its 2nd installment, the Underground Mural Project returns to bring together the very best in street art, music, diversity and community to Underground at Ink Block, an epicenter of culture and creativity nestled between the South End and South Boston neighborhoods of Boston. Celebrate at a block party on Saturday, June 29th from 2pm-6pm! Get Trill before the party with a special pre-party Trill.Fit class featuring a live DJ and 30min Sculpt + 30min Cardio Dance. Go ahead a grab a nice cold drink when it’s done– you’ll deserve it. There is also VIP access to the event – must be 21 +. Tickets are $25. A portion of the proceed will go to local 501(c)3 non-profit: Boston City Lights.  You can learn more here! 

Pride by the Sea

Keep the Pride party going and soak up the sun on the Row 34 patio on Thursday, June 27th at 6pm. Resident Sea Queens will be shucking fresh oysters and performing their favorite hits. Sip on frozen beds, play some games and dress in your favorite ocean-themed attire for the costume contest.

Spectacle Summer Nights

Spectacle Island will stay open for an after-hours experience– an evening of relaxation, fun, and music in partnership with L.L.Bean and Trillium Brewing.
Visitors can sit on the porch and enjoy live music, set up a picnic dinner, roast marshmallows on the beach, hike with a ranger, try your hand at fly fishing, or relax in a hammock. Bring your own picnic or make it easy to have a gourmet meal en plein air with one of their picnic packages (must be ordered in advance). The first event in this series on Saturday, June 29th from 4:30pm-8:30pm will feature a Trillium Beer Garden. Tickets are $35 and include:
