The much anticipated casino and resort, Encore Boston Harbor is opening on Sunday! From gambling to eating and drinking, we got the scoop on this 3 million square foot opulent complex in Everett.

With a New England theme, Encore has curated a group of restaurants that reflect the tastes and chefs of the area. From seafood to Italian, to buffets, burgers and breakfast, Encore has it all. (And yes, there is a Dunkins – duh). You can check up a full roundup here. If you want a “sophisticated and sexy” dinner with gorgeous views, head to Mystique – an Asian fusion restaurant. Ask to sit on the terrace, and take in the gorgeous water views!
How do you get there?
Encore is accessible by the MBTA and Commuter Rail. Take the Newburyport Commuter Rail to Chelsea Commuter Rail Station and walk .5 miles to our nearest Encore Neighborhood Runner bus stop located beside Market Basket and across from the MBTA Silver Line Chelsea Station. Take the free Encore Neighborhood Runner to Encore.
Drive your car! You can also drive there and park for $22 for six hours or $42 for 24 hours.
Take a boat. You can cruise to Encore Boston Harbor in style on a Premium Harbor Shuttle, leaving from World Trade Center in the Seaport and Long Wharf near Christopher Columbus Park.
Ride your bike. Ride your bike to the resort and take advantage of our ample bicycle parking. Or, rent a BlueBike from one of dozens of locations around the city and drop it off at our on-site BlueBikes dock.

Gamblers Delight
There are thousands of slot machines, games, and poker tables on the gaming floor. You’re gambling experience will be illuminated by custom red chandeliers. The two-story casino area features the gaming floor but a second floor of private gaming rooms and 53 “high-limit slots” with betting minimums that range from $5 to $500. There is also a jeweled encrusted Merry-go-round. If you’re gambling, you can enjoy cocktails until 4am.

If you want to dance the night away with the beautiful people, head to Memoire. Boston-based Big Night Entertainment Group offers state of the art, upscale “new nightlife fantasy.” Cover charge will run you about $40 and da club will feature local and celebrity DJs.
Relax and Unwind
Encore Boston Harbor features a 19,000 square foot spa where you can indulge in specialty massages, body treatments, facials and more. There’s also a state-of-the-art fitness center complete with cardio and strength training equipment from Woodway, Cybex, Life Fitness and Peloton.
What should I wear?
Whether you want to dress sparkles like Ginger from Casino or cargo shorts and a Red Sox t-shirt, anything goes in most of the casino areas for gambling and sports watching. There are dress codes however, in many of the restaurants and nightclubs, so make sure to check the website for restrictions and guidelines. Word of advice, it’s a brand new luxurious casino and resort, take pride in your appearance and put some effort into your attire.
