Free Bluebikes for National Influenza Week
In support of public health efforts to encourage flu vaccinations and to provide an easy mode of transportation to flu shot locations across Metro-Boston, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (“Blue Cross”) will offer free Bluebikes rides during National Influenza Vaccination Week, December 6-12. Complimentary trips will be available in the system’s nine municipalities: Arlington, Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Everett, Newton, Revere, Somerville and Watertown, with stations in Chelsea launching soon.

Virtual Watercolor Workshop with For Now
For Now will be hosting local artist Meredith Hanson for a a watercolor workshop to raise money for The Boys and Girls Club Nantucket. In this class, Meredith will demonstrate how to sketch, create a color palette, and paint a variety of holiday/winter themed motifs. This class will be virtual via Zoom and all participants will be muted to avoid background noise. A For Now team member will be monitoring the chat box so you can ask any questions that come up.
