Fall Fest (Taylor’s Version) at the Lawn on D

Calling all Swifties! Fall Fest (Taylor’s Version) is taking over The Lawn on D on Saturday, October 3. Dress in your favorite era and enjoy an afternoon of Taylor Swift fun from 12pm–5pm, including bracelet-making, face-painting, and a live Taylor Swift tribute by Anna Daley Young from 2pm–5pm. MyStryde Mom + Me Mat-Based Strength Series with SB Moms Club

This one’s for the moms, moms-to-be, and babies in tow. Expect a full-body strength workout with a mix of functional movements, core work, and pre- and postpartum-friendly modifications. It’s a chance to move, build strength, and connect with other moms. Babies are always welcome!  Classes take place on Friday October 2nd, 9th and 16th at 11:30am at MyStryde Southie.

The Current is back for its 20th Season with Fireside in the Seaport

Nominate your favorite Legacy Business (perhaps Caught in Southie…)

Mayor Michelle Wu today announced the launch of the nomination period for the fifth annual Legacy Business Awards. Nominations will be accepted through Friday, October 30, 2026. Residents are encouraged to nominate long-standing businesses that have been located within the city of Boston for at least 10 years and contribute to the cultural, historical, and societal fabric of their community or neighborhood.  You can learn more here.

Celine is opening this week

Celine is officially opening on Monday at 4pm at 324 A Street, taking over the former Blue Dragon space. The new spot comes from Coda Restaurant Group, the team behind SRV, Baleia, Gufo, and The Salty Pig. The restaurant will bring a little Montréal to Boston with a French-Canadian-inspired menu featuring dishes like chicken liver mousse, steak tartare, moules marinière, and steak frites. The restaurant will also offer a strong cocktail and wine program. Chef Joe Cooke will lead the kitchen. Make a reservation today.
