The LOT On the Dot Movie Night + Block Party
Over the fall and winter of 2023, The LOT On the Dot will host a series of public events for the South Boston community and surrounding areas, inviting everyone to come together and enjoy the newly developed space. The fun kicks off on Friday with a Movie Night at 5:30pm featuring The Lion King, complete with free popcorn and cotton candy, plus food trucks and adult beverages! Enjoy a Block Party on Saturday with food, drinks, shopping and more from 12pm-6pm. Both events are free and open to the public! You can learn more here!
Early Bird Specials in Southie
Around the city, chefs are reporting that their restaurants start filling up as early as 3 p.m., peaking around 5:30 or 6. Well, good news for you early birds: you can take advantage of these Southie spots for some discounted meals and cheap eats! Check out Grace’s roundup here!

South Boston Street Festival – New Date
The South Boston Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation has announced that the highly anticipated 23rd South Boston Street Fest will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23rd, 2023. East Broadway between I and L streets will be transformed into a vibrant and lively hub of festivities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Get all the fun details here!
