Early Bird Specials – A guide to cheap eats in the neighborhood
Around the city, chefs are reporting that their restaurants start filling up as early as 3 p.m., peaking around 5:30 or 6. Well, good news for you early birds: you can take advantage of these Southie spots for some discounted meals and cheap eats!
Fat Baby
On Mondays, enjoy unlimited maki from 4-10pm for just $32 at Fat Baby! On Tuesdays, get $3 bao buns.
Hunter’s
Spend your lunch hour with Hunter’s. Sandwiches are half off Monday-Wednesday from 11am to 3pm. Plus half-priced mac and cheese with $6 add-ons! On Wednesday nights, enjoy wings – $12 for 8 wings – bbq, honey habanero, honey buffalo, or lemon pepper!
Lincoln
Happy Meal Mondays at Lincoln offers new specials every Monday that consist of a sandwich, side, and dessert for around $16. Weiner Wednesday also offers new specials featuring a hot dog-inspired meal. A whole day celebrating hot dogs..where else can you get that? Capo
Wear your stretchy pants! Capo offers bottomless pasta 30$ on Wednesdays. They also offer Appy Hour Monday-Thursday 4-6pm. The menu for appy hour includes half off pizza and apps.
Loco
The beloved Taco Tuesday at Loco has changed format and tacos are half off all day!
The Broadway
Enjoy half-priced pizza on Tuesdays at The Broadway. 1$ oysters are offered all day Wednesday. If you can’t make it Wednesday, no worries, 1$ oysters are offered Monday-Friday from 2-6pm.
Shy Bird
Head on down to Shy Bird for “shy hour.” Monday to Friday from 4-6pm, they offer 50-cent chicken nuggets, $3.50 beers, and $9 sandwiches and cocktails. I mean, you can’t even get a coffee for those prices! Get more details here.

Golden Hour at Fresh takes place on Tuesdays-Saturdays 4p-6p Dine in only $4 draft beers, $10 buckets of corona & miller high life grenades, $6 Fresh Margaritas, $6 golden hour ju ju juice, plus a bunch of food specials, all $10 and under! Nice!
Petula’s
Martini Mondays at Petula’s is a do not miss! It features a rotation of classic cocktails like the Classic Martini, Cosmo, Espresso, Lemon Drop, and Manhattan for just $10 from opening until closing on Mondays!
Local 149
Local 149 offers $4 sliders on Wednesdays and $10 patty melt on Mondays. They also have 1$ oysters every day from 4-6pm.
Gray’s Hall
Gray’s Hall offers 1$ oysters on Wednesday nights.
Lulu Green Taco Night
Enjoy specialty tacos on Thursday nights at Lulu Green. Dine-in only! Pairs perfectly with their housemade margaritas!
Takeout Tuesday at Bar Volpe
Treat yourself to Bar Volpe’s new weekly pasta takeout special aptly called “Takeout Tuesday.” For $65 you’ll get 1 package of ready-to-cook Bucatini, 1 pint of homemade Bolognese Sauce, 1 Taleggio Stuffed Focaccia, and 1 bottle of Karen’s signature “KA” Forli Sangiovese wine, and is meant to feed two people.
