New Workouts to Try in South Boston

Things are slowly going back to normal in the world.  People are getting vaccinated. Mask mandates and COVID restrictions for businesses have been lifted and new workouts are starting to surface in the neighborhood! Here are some new ones to try!

The Return of the Farmers Market

The South Boston Farmers Market returns on Monday, June 7th with an opening day celebration! Riverdale Farms comes back as the local farm plus newcomer Humble Bones will be selling granola. Live music will be performed by Jan and Lou Borelli from 12pm-3:30pm.  The farmer market will take place every Monday through October 25th from 12pm-6pm at the West Broadway Municipal parking lot. Round 2 of Stanley Cup Playoffs

The Bruins face the Islanders in Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Monday at 7:30pm, Thursday at 7:30pm and Saturday at 7:15pm! Here are 10 Places to Watch the Game in South Boston!

Joseph’s Deli is closed for renovations

FYI – if you have a hankering for a Joseph’s chicken parm sub, you’re gonna have to wait.  Beginning June 1st, Joseph’s Deli will be closed for renovations.  You can get the details here! 

Calling all Artists

The City of Boston is looking for artists to paint utility boxes with original designs through the Mayor’s Office of Arts + Culture.  Artist will receive a $500 stipend for your project.  Deadline to submit a design is May 31st. You can learn more here!
