5 Things You Should Know This Week – June 30th

Stars, Stripes and Strings Event at Love Child with Caught in Southie

Kick off July with a night filled with creativity and community! ✨ We’re teaming up with our friends at Love Child to host Stars, Stripes, and Strings — a festive make-and-sip night where you’ll design your own bandana bracelet or necklace and build a mini red, white, and blue bouquet to take home. We’ll have two activity stations filled with patriotic charms and a bloom bar full of summer stems. Think summer camp, but cuter — and with sauvy B (and other non-alcoholic beverages).   Arrive anytime during this time window.  You’ll need at least 30 minutes to complete your necklace/bracelet.  We can’t wait to see you!  Reserve your spot here!

Turn it around

USS Constitution is scheduled to go underway from Charlestown Navy Yard on July 4th at 10:00 a.m in honor of Independence Day! USS Constitution’s cruise will be viewable from the Boston Harborwalk, Castle Island, and Charlestown Navy Yard. There will fire a 21-gun salute viewable from Fort Independence on Castle Island at approximately 11:30 a.m. While you’re out at Castle Island, you might as well get some lunch or ice cream at Sullivan’s! The turnaround will commemorate the 249th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
