Support the Winter Fund

This local initiative to help fund the full-time restaurant works of the neighborhood has been created by Mike Shaw owner of Loco and Fat Baby.  The Winter Fund’s goal is to simply match what full-time employees of Fat Baby and Loco made, dollar-for-dollar, in February and March of 2019.  Anything extra will be given to other South Boston restaurant employees. You can make a donation here! Loco and Fat Baby are both selling swag for the cause too! You can purchase at each restaurant!

Boston Youth Lacrosse Association (based in South Boston) is a not-for-profit organization established to teach the youth of our communities the game of lacrosse – the fastest game on two feet!. You can learn more here! 

Recycling Christmas Trees

Maybe wait to toss your tree out the window. The City will pick up Christmas trees this week to be shredded for compost. If you have two recycling days, we pick up trees on your first recycling day. Please place your trees on the curb by 6 a.m., without lights or ornaments. Get the details here.
