Get your Bike Tuned Up for Spring

For the third year in a row, Boston Seaport by WS will offer free bike check-ups through June 26th right on Seaport Common every Wednesday from 7:30am-11:30am.  Select local Seaport businesses will be providing treats to thank bikers for commuting sustainably. Bike check-ups are complimentary. However, all bikers are asked to sign up via the monthly sign-up links here.  This amazing initiative is a partnership between Seaport Transportation Management Association (TMA), Amazon and Landry’s Bicycles.

Arm Balance Workshop at East Side Yoga

Be prepared to work hard to prepare the body for a variety of arm balances. Yogis will learn bakasana (crow pose), parsva bakasana (side crow), galavasana (flying pigeon) and eka pada koundinyasana (flying scissors).   Learn where to level up your practice when arm balances aren’t cued.  This workshop will take place on Sunday, April 14th from 11:30am-1pm led by Krysta Lyn. Cisco Brewing Seaport Returns

Boston Seaport by WS and Cisco Brewers are thrilled to announce the return of Cisco Brewers Seaport for its seventh season. Starting on Thursday, April 11, the pop-up will bring back those Nantucket island vibes to Seaport. Alongside its renowned portfolio of innovative beer, this year’s Cisco experience will showcase returning favorite menu items from Cisco Kitchen Bar and the debut of a new pizza truck launching for the season, as well as craft cocktails featuring spirits from Triple Eight Distillery and wines from Nantucket Vineyard. Cisco Brewers Seaport will be open seven days a week, with an extended, tented space so guests can enjoy the pop-up all season long. Have your heard the news? There’s a solar eclipse happening on Monday.  The solar eclipse will be visible across the continental United States.  In Boston, viewers will see 92.55% of the sun eclipsed by the moon.  See timeline below:

Partial eclipse start time: 2:16 p.m.
Peak eclipse time: 3:29 p.m.
Partial eclipse ends: 4:39 p.m.

Need last minute eclipse glass? The library is offering some while supplies last.  You can also purchase them at 7-11, Home Depot and Stop + Shop.

Remember, don’t be a moron and look up at the eclipse without your safety glasses.  You’ll burn your retinas out!
