South Boston Transportation Action Plan Listening Session with City Councilor Ed Flynn
The Boston Planning and Development Agency had an in-person community meeting on the schedule for Wednesday, April 10th, at the Condon School. On Tuesday, it was announced that BPDA has canceled this meeting to give the team time to provide a thoughtful response to the feedback it heard at last week’s virtual meeting.
However, City Councilor Ed Flynn has decided to hold his own South Boston Transportation Plan Listening Session in the same space and time as the original meeting- at the Condon School on Wednesday, April 10th at 6:30pm.
Councilor Flynn said: “Although the BPDA and BTD have canceled their presentation, it is critical for me as your District City Councilor to listen to your feedback so that I can continue to advocate with the city, including on the serious and legitimate concerns we heard on [last week’s] virtual meeting about pedestrian safety, public safety response times, traffic and congestion, and those from our small business community.”
Plan to attend tomorrow’s meeting and give Councilor Flynn your feedback!
